My name is Rachel and I am a jewellery designer located in Brisbane, Australia.
I love to create have had tried many different mediums in which to satify that part of me that loves to create, however, I always come back to my first love, creating jewellery.
I and am inspired by the colours and textures in nature. I love to use natural stones, gemstones and pearls, sterling silver and 14kt gold fill. I love to create simple modern, elegant designs using only the best materials whilst maintaining affordability for everyone.
I have a fantastic website called La Femme Boutique in which I sell my jewellery.
I have completed a Diploma in Jewellery Design and am working my way towards becoming a gold and silversmith with regular training workshops, beginners courses and a range of self taught actions as well. I am expanding my skill base rapidly and hope by the end of 2009 I will have the basic skills to create and expand my range even further with metalworking, stone settings and more.
